So it needs more fleshing out, and more polish to be complete. Thats what I've encountered and can think of right now. Two passengers who are there as guides and quest helpers for a short time, are stuck on your sub forever. At one point you are supposed to pick up a guy to be part of your crew for a quest, but if you don't have the room immediately, if you come back, you can no longer recruit him. Some that I encountered was a side quest that could no longer be completed as the turn in place is removed from the game after another event. However, many of the old side quests are not done or fleshed out, side missions in general are very sparse, and there are many game breaking and progress halting issues to address. You can technically finish the game, and get the ending, this is true. The resubmerged is a superiour experience, but it is still incomplete. At several points development and updates were halted or slowed significantly as they had to tend to RL problems and situations. Its a small team and this was a side thing they worked on outside of their 'real' jobs as a passion project. Thank you for your time and any possible answers :) ![]() So, what do you guys think? Will the dev be able to keep on fixing the game in the near/forseeable future? Is the game actually ''playable'' right now without any major/game breaking bugs? But if the bugs/glitches can be categorized as ''major'' such as CTDs / freezes / corrupted savefiles / unable to progress quest/campaign (etcetera) then there is no point in giving the game a shot right now. If the bugs are minor, I just wanna jump back into the game. Then about 1-2 days ago, I noticed the news that the devs -being human- have to pay their bills as well, and hence he/she/they don't really have much time to fix the game anymore (or so it appears to me from what I have read).īut. Well, I'll *wait* some more until the devs fix those bugs. Not just ''a bug'' but multiple bugs? Some of them are game-breaking bugs? Hmm. ![]() Let's see what their greviences are first. And all they get for that work are negative reviews? Why? Why!? ''Ungrateful fans'', I thought to myself.īut better not be judgemental. ![]() Negative? The devs worked like crazy! The kept their promise and RE-mastered their game for their fans. Then when I was just about to download the game on Steam, I noticed the negative reviews for the game. I mean the developer/s actually pulled it off! I just knew that my faith in them wasn't wasted. Through the beta patches I waited anxiously for the game to be ''re-released''.Īnd then, it was. The deal was too good to refuse! How could I spoil the experience by playing a ''lesser version'' of Diluvion while the devs were working so vehemently on a new patch/remastered version of the game that would make everything better and probably even solve some of my initial/longstanding issues with the game (a.k.a the super-crazy-hungry-crew and some other stuff). Then I was further notified on the game's main Steam page that the awesome devs were preparing an awesome patch to make the game 100% better then what it already was. ![]() Some months later, the new computer is here, and I can finally play the game! Yeah/yay me! (and so on.).īut then I noticed on the forums that some of the recent out-of beta patches were causing some minor issues, so better wait for them to get fixed first. The game had all the functions that I could ever imagine having in my own personal ''Submarine RPG with Crew management'' game.īut then I noticed I ought to give the game a break and wait for some more patches to release.Īfter the nascent wait for the patches, I was back to the game but this time my own computer was causing some issues with the game (game breaking bugs, quite literally computer was freezing 3-5 mins into the game etcetera) so I had to wait until I bought a new computer. When Diluvion was initially released, it was a huge surprise for me and I immediately purchased it. Huge fan of Diluvion here, but I am worried about the game now at the same time.
